Training Team Members in Tirana
EASTERN EUROPE- One of the first visits Samuel made to our house after having been assigned as a field missionary was on a warm spring day. We sat in our little courtyard and he shared more about the journey of God calling him to this life.
Running with the Bears in Churchill
MANITOBA - The 10th anniversary Polar Bear Marathon took place in Churchill, Man., on November 20, 2021.
A Dream Come True
Our existence is made of interactions with others. When we arrived in Bobo-Dioulasso in 2006, our constant prayer was that God would send us to those who want to hear from him, those who are thirsty and hungry for him, or that God would send them to us.

SOUTH SUDAN: SUNDAY, AN ORPHAN AND A BISHOP
Sunday is not just a day. This story is about Sunday the man. Sunday grew up in refugee camps as a Sudanese orphan. Camp life was very difficult and as an orphan, and especially a Sudanese orphan, he had to figure out how to support himself in another country.

PERU: MY WEEKEND, PLANS AND GOD’S PURPOSE
Sometimes when missionaries share their stories, people don’t see the blood sweat and tears that go with them, but I can assure you that they do whether “at home” in Canada or elsewhere in the world.
MEXICO: A HOUSE CHURCH—CHRIST-CENTRED, INFORMAL, MULTIPLYING
What would a prayer team member see when they come to the city of Guadalajara to see the EMC church plant here?
ALBERT MARTENS IN CHURCHILL: THE MINISTRY OF THE POLAR BEAR MARATHON
The fifth annual Polar Bear Marathon in Churchill, Man., was once again an exciting experience.
PUZZLING OVER THE MEANING OF THE WORD ‘KI’
The Siamou language was not a written language when we started learning it 30 years ago. Along with the task of Bible translation came the job of linguistic analysis. We had to study the consonants and vowels in order to develop an alphabet.
