Advertising Policy

The Messenger does not sell advertising, but some ads are accepted as a service if space and suitability permit. To be accepted, advertising needs to benefit the Church, in particular the EMC, EMC churches and ministries.

Advertising is not to be for personal monetary benefit of any individual or group. Ads are provided free as a courtesy.

We ask advertisers to indicate how long they would like the ad to run. Smaller designed ads can be forwarded.

The Messenger reserves the right to limit ad run, reduce ad size, convert boxed ads to classifieds or pull ads before the deadline when space is limited.

The following list is representative, not exhaustive, of what can be advertised: EMC coming events, personnel needs, books (including cookbooks). Wider: some Christian tours, personnel needs for Christian institutions, inter-Mennonite events, Christian publishers, Christian educational institutions, MCC, MWC, MDS, mission organizations.

Contact editor Rebecca Roman  to inquire about publication of an ad.
