A tragic loss: Belen is now in heaven
♪ On Thursday, May 16, 2024, Kiara Belen was crossing the highway on her bike five blocks from our home as she was coming home from school at 5:30 in the afternoon, when she was hit by a pickup truck and immediately was in the arms of her Saviour.
Testimony: The prodigal returns
♪ GORDON UTZ WAS one of those guys who, like me, got into a little trouble in high school. Tall, handsome, hilarious and a good hockey player—I’m talking about me, of course (just kidding!). I’m talking about my classmate, Gord. Recently his brother Stan said, “You gotta talk to Gord; you won’t believe his story.” So, I did. As we spoke, it was like we pushed rewind and were back in grade 10.

The eleven testimonies we heard on February 11, 2024, at our baptism and membership service were heart-stirring. The worship in song moved us in celebration and joy. The resounding amens as we accepted the men, women and youth publicly to our church family were deeply moving.
Baptism gives opportunity to celebrate
A baptismal service is an opportunity for the whole church to celebrate what God is doing in our midst. On Sunday, June 26, 2022, Rosenort EMC congregants witnessed four young people take this step of obedience in following Jesus.
